Project:  Kardatzke Wellness Center New Construction

No campus building stands alone. In addition to its own stated purpose, every structure assumes a broader role within the context of the campus at large. Not surprisingly then, Anderson University’s Kardatzke Wellness Center was designed to serve this Indiana campus in many ways.

Like most schools, AU needed its new wellness center to house numerous athletic, academic, and administration elements. The facility was also intended to be a strategic addition to the school’s sports medicine program – one that would attract top talent. And because of its central location, the new space also needed to act as a welcoming environment for students to meet, relax, and study.

Our approach to this massive project mirrored the university’s own wellness principles –academic, physical, and spiritual elements working in unison to create a more fulfilling whole. Today the building isn’t simply a wellness center – it’s a physical structure that actually facilitates wellness.
