Joseph Woschitz, MD, is a board certified ophthalmologist. For years, his role as an eye physician and surgeon forced him to split his time between a local hospital and his own office. As a result, patients were frequently inconvenienced and his time was all too often spent commuting between locations.

Dr. Woschitz wanted to spend more time with his patients and less in his car. His dream was to provide the highest level of care to every patient in his practice from a single facility – one with surgery rooms, private recovery areas, and a sophisticated new image. He contacted krM to help make this dream a reality. We worked with Dr. Woschitz and a team of contractors to completely re-purpose an existing structure and create the new Anderson Center for Sight.

The project was a complicated one. It included elements of demolition, renovation, and new construction. The building’s narrow footprint was especially challenging to work with, particularly given the unique needs of the center’s patrons and staff. Despite the challenges, the office remained open during the entire process and the project was a success. Today, Dr. Woschitz is there for more patients than ever before.
