The young and rapidly growing St. John Vianney (SJV) Parish led by Father Brian Dudzinski, broke ground on the first building to be constructed on their 109 acre campus located near the intersection of SR 238 and 126th St. in Fishers, Indiana.
With a large piece of farmland and a vision for a unique campus community, SJV engaged krM Architecture+ & HDB Cram & Ferguson to develop a long-range master plan for the property. The ground breaking event drew a crowd of nearly 200 to celebrate the construction of the first of 10 proposed buildings on the master plan, the Bridge Building. This facility will initially serve as the main site to celebrate mass and house various administrative functions. As the Parish continues to grow and the master plan is implemented, this building will be converted into a Youth Center including gymnasium space.
krM+ Project Architect, Stuart Godfrey, shares that “the project is envisioned as a bridge for the Parish; it is a means to move the church from its current, off-site location to the permanent campus. The move will enable more membership growth and expand the Parish’s ministry opportunity within the community.”
