Shirley Montgomery, MArch, IIDA, LEED Green Associate
Shirley is a Charter Professional Member of the International Interior Design Association. For seven years, within Art Appreciation and Art History classes at Anderson University, she taught freshman through senior students color theory and the elements and principles of design that are found in all forms of art. She still approaches Interior Design as one of the major forms of art and she is currently a Registered Interior Designer in the state of Indiana.
In 1978, Shirley worked with Ken when he founded K. R. Montgomery and Associates, Architects. Because of her experiences as an educator, providing leadership to young interior designers within KRM has always been important to her. She holds an MA in Art Education/Art and Architectural History and a Masters in Architecture from Ball State University.
